Okay, so I am not ashamed to say that I am irrevocably obsessed with Mr. Mayer. And when I say obsessed, I mean my “Top 25 Most Played” songs on my iPod are all John’s masterpieces. There are a few, however, that seem to “get me” every time. His bluesy guitar chords pair perfectly with his raspy, yet soothing voice. Here are a handful of my favorite picks just in time for Valentine’s Day- I encourage you to read the lyrics, too!

i don’t want to leave!
Today is my LAST day at work! I can’t believe I have to go back already. It’s been a whirlwind out here. Amazing. I loved getting to explore the fabulous nightlife and hangouts with my dad’s assistant, Rodin, and her friends over the past few weeks. One of my favorite places we visited was a restaurant and bar called Javier’s in Newport. The food, ambiance and people were unbelievable. I can’t wait to get back out here. But for now, off to seaside to spend the 4th with the fam. Goodbye OC!

“welcome home malibu barbie!”
back on the west coast today with a few more additions- my brother and mommy are here for the week!
sooo friday i flew back to atlanta & i was welcomed by my highly intoxicated brother and friends at the gate. they were holding a neon green poster that read “WELCOME HOME MALIBU BARBIE” in glitter. needless to say i was mortified as i tried not to notice the 100+ pairs of eyes watching malibu barbie’s arrival. oh, and they also told the crowd that they were waiting for their friend on the hills. kill me.
